Bobby Jindal ranks higher than Nino Scalia? This is a dubious ranking.

I agree that the rank order is odd in places, and you've certainly pointed out what I think is a real howler. However, I think that using the list as a roster is a good quick intro to major figures. I wonder who they will have in the top twenty.

I agree completely, Gardener. As an encyclopedic RESOURCE, the list is invaluable. As an accurate ranking of influential or important conservative Americans, it leaves something to be desired.

Another howler: Michael Savage ranking higher than anybody else on the list (or off).

One more: Chuck Norris is a more influential conservative than CHARLES KRAUTHAMMER?!
