Archealogists in Italy think they may have found the cave ancient Romans regarded as the place where Romulus and Remus, the mythic founders of Rome, were suckled by the wolf. It has been known that the Romans regarded a cave as the sacred Lupercale and conducted worship there. What has been unknown to modern scholars was the location of the cave. Now we may know.
